Job summary

Brookdale is hiring a Maintenance Technician to keep the interior and exterior of our communities in top condition. You will perform scheduled and unscheduled maintenance on HVAC, elevator, fire/sprinkler equipment, generators, landscape, and kitchen equipment, and you will handle general maintenance projects as assigned.

You will coordinate with community directors and residents, and communicate with local authorities as required.

Qualifications

• Requirements to be a Maintenance Technician.
• Maintenance Technicians will maintain scheduled and unscheduled maintenance on HVAC, elevator, fire and sprinkler equipment, generators, landscape, kitchen equipment and emergency pull cord equipment.
• Maintenance Technicians will perform general maintenance projects as scheduled or assigned and respond to maintenance requests by community directors and residents in both private rooms and public living areas.
• They will maintain positive communication with local fire marshal, building inspector and any other jurisdictions governing the community.
