Job summary

Tioga Pipe, Inc. is seeking an experienced Mechanic to maintain warehouse material handling equipment, saws, racks, and fleet vehicles. You will perform routine maintenance and repair mechanical systems to ensure safety and reliability across our facility.

Responsibilities include logging run hours, maintaining lighting, heating, plumbing, and completing manual repairs as needed. Welding skills and MS Office proficiency are preferred, with a high school diploma or GED required.

Qualifications

• Background repairing forklifts and material handling equipment.
• General knowledge of plumbing, electrical, and facilities maintenance.
• Experience with welding; able to weld to good practices.
• Proficient with Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook.
• High School Diploma or GED required.

Responsibilities

• Survey building/grounds and repair mechanical systems to health and safety standards.
• Perform routine maintenance on saws, air compressors and material handling equipment.
• Maintain log of operational run hours on all material handling equipment.
• Maintain lighting inside and outside and change bulbs as needed.
• Maintain heating and plumbing systems to ensure functionality.
• Perform manual repairs when necessary (fix locks, man doors, overhead door, dock plates, windows).
• All other duties as assigned.
