Job summary

Tioga Pipe, Inc. is seeking an experienced Maintenance Mechanic to service and repair warehouse and facility systems in Easton, PA. The role focuses on maintaining material handling equipment, saws, compressors, lighting, heating, plumbing, and general repairs to keep operations safe and efficient.

Ideal candidates will have hands-on experience with forklifts, welding, and basic electrical/plumbing knowledge, plus proficiency with Microsoft Office. A HS diploma or GED is required.

Qualifications

• Background repairing forklifts and material handling equipment.
• General knowledge of plumbing, electrical, and facilities maintenance.
• Able to operate a welding machine and follow good welding practices.
• Experience with Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook.
• High School Diploma or GED required.

Responsibilities

• Survey building/grounds and repair mechanical systems to health and safety standards.
• Perform routine maintenance on saws, air compressors and material handling equipment.
• Maintain log of run hours on all material handling equipment.
• Maintain interior/exterior lighting and replace bulbs as needed.
• Maintain heating and plumbing systems to ensure functionality.
• Perform manual repairs (locks, doors, overhead doors, dock plates, windows).
• All other duties as assigned.

Position Summary

Steel distribution center seeking experienced Mechanic to maintain warehouse material handling equipment, saws, racks, company fleet vehicles and other facilities maintenance.

Responsibilities

• Survey building/grounds and repair mechanical systems to ensure they are consistent with health and safety standards.


• Perform routine maintenance on saws, air compressors and material handling equipment.


• Maintain log of operational run hours on all material handling equipment.


• Maintain lighting inside and outside and change bulbs as needed.


• Maintain heating and plumbing systems to ensure functionality.


• Perform manual repairs when necessary. (fix locks, Man doors, Overhead door, Dock plates, windows etc.)


• All other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• Must have background repairing various forklifts and material handling equipment.


• General knowledge of plumbing, electrical, and other facilities maintenance.


• Must be able to use a welding machine and have knowledge of good welding practices.


• Experience with Microsoft excel, word, and outlook.


• High School Diploma or GED required.
