Job summary

The NRP Group LLC in Florida is seeking a Maintenance Technician to perform general maintenance, grounds, and housekeeping on apartment homes, ensuring curb appeal and resident satisfaction.

Under the Maintenance Supervisor and Community Manager, you will handle preventative maintenance, repairs, safety, and respond to service requests, requiring 3–4 years of maintenance experience and a high school diploma; CFC certification preferred, with reliable transportation and basic computer skills.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; CFC Universal certification preferred; must be attained within 90 days of hire.
• 3–4 years of maintenance experience.
• Computer proficiency and reliable transportation.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventative maintenance, repairs, inspections, and janitorial services as assigned.
• Assist with storage area and maintenance materials.
• Perform refurbishing and renovation of apartments per company standards.
• Walk the property daily to ensure curb appeal and quality of apartments.
• Notify Community Manager of safety concerns and participate in safety meetings.
• Maintain knowledge of property specific problems such as asbestos.
• Maintain accurate records of all tasks completed.
• Availability for weekend work, on-call duties, and after-hours emergencies.
