Job summary

Kittle Property Group seeks a Maintenance Technician for Sunspring Apartments. You will provide dependable maintenance, handle resident requests, ensure units and common areas are well-kept, and support the property management team with preventive maintenance and safety standards.

You will inspect units, perform turnovers, supervise contractors, and maintain grounds. Prior maintenance experience and basic HVAC knowledge are a plus; candidate must be reliable and customer-focused.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 1 year of maintenance experience.
• HVAC/EPA certification preferred.
• Ability to read, write, speak and interpret basic instructions.
• Math skills: add, subtract, multiply, divide by 10s/100s.
• Basic reasoning and problem solving.
• Beginner MS Outlook and MS Word skills.

Responsibilities

• Monitor maintenance expenses and keep them under budget.
• Inspect community grounds each morning.
• Turn and prepare vacant units for occupancy and maintain units.
• Complete maintenance requests promptly.
• Perform preventative maintenance activities.
• Maintain landscaping and common areas.
• Coordinate and supervise contractors on site.
• Provide emergency resident support after hours.
• Keep records of maintenance performed and tools/assets.
• Maintain tools and equipment in working condition.
