Job summary

Island Palm Communities LLC is seeking a General Maintenance Technician to handle repairs across rental units, offices, and grounds. You will perform carpentry, plumbing, and electrical tasks, respond to service calls, and ensure safe, quality work with proper documentation.

Ideal candidates have 1–3 years of related experience, a High School Diploma or GED, and strong English communication. A team-oriented environment with learning and development opportunities awaits in Hawaii.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required; vocational/technical training preferred.
• 1–3 years of related maintenance experience.
• Basic competency in carpentry, plumbing and electrical trades.
• Ability to read, write, and communicate in English to follow instructions and report results.
• Ability to plan, organize, prioritize, and work under deadlines with good judgement.

Responsibilities

• Respond to service calls and perform COM work and routine maintenance.
• Repair or replace building systems including electrical, plumbing, and HVAC components.
• Maintain and repair rental units, offices, grounds, and common areas.
• Ensure safety and document work orders, materials, and notes accurately.
• Operate and transport tools and equipment; assist with on-call after-hours emergencies.
