Job summary

Faith Technologies in Opelika, AL is seeking a Maintenance Technician to support the Manufacturing Engineer in all Excellerate locations with maintenance tasks, including design, line layout, fabrication, installation of tools and equipment.

The role requires 5 years maintenance experience, metal fabrication 2–3 years, welding 1–2 years, and High School Diploma or GED, with travel 0-25% and a schedule 6am–6pm; you will troubleshoot, repair, and maintain tools and equipment and assist with

5 years maintenance or related experience.
2–3 years metal fabrication experience.
1–2 years welding experience.

Responsibilities

Assist in design, line/cell layout and movement, fabrication, installation of specialized tools, equipment, and material handling devices used for manufacturing.
Assist cell work teams with work station design, fabrication and implementation of manufacturing processes, and improvements.
Will be responsible for troubleshooting, repairing, and maintaining manufacturing tools and equipment.
Will assist the Facilities Technician with building repair and upkeep as needed.
Assist Manufacturing Engineer with design, start-up, and application of equipment and tools.
Create equipment inspection and repair schedules for preventive maintenance program.
Train employees on proper and safe use of equipment.
Performs other related duties as required and assigned.
