Job summary

You will assist the Manufacturing Engineer and Facilities Technician with design, installation, repair, and preventive maintenance of tools, equipment, and material handling devices used in production. The role requires 5 years of maintenance experience, 2-3 years metal fabrication, 1-2 years welding, and a flexible schedule with 0–25% travel.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 5 years of maintenance or related experience.
• 2–3 years metal fabrication and 1–2 years welding experience.
• Travel 0–25% and flexible schedule.

Responsibilities

• Assist in design, line/cell layout and movement, fabrication, installation of specialized tools, equipment, and material handling devices used for manufacturing.
• Assist cell work teams with work station design, fabrication and implementation of manufacturing processes, and improvements.
• Troubleshoot, repair, and maintain manufacturing tools and equipment.
• Assist Facilities Technician with building repair and upkeep as needed.
• Assist Manufacturing Engineer with design, start-up, and application of equipment and tools.
• Create equipment inspection and repair schedules for preventive maintenance program.
• Train employees on proper and safe use of equipment.
• Performs other related duties as required and assigned.
