Job summary

Avenue5 Residential is seeking a Maintenance Technician to perform repairs across electrical, plumbing, appliances, flooring, carpentry, HVAC, and grounds at our Everett properties. This role supports resident safety and satisfaction and requires basic carpentry skills and a valid driver's license.

You will participate in preventative maintenance, safety programs, and after-hours on-call shifts while upholding high standards of cleanliness and curb appeal for our communities.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• At least one year of experience in the property management industry or related field.
• General maintenance and general carpentry skills.
• Valid driver’s license with clean driving record and current auto insurance.

Responsibilities

• Perform maintenance repairs to electrical, plumbing, appliances, flooring, carpentry, HVAC and grounds as directed.
• Conduct carpentry tasks like wallboard repair, cabinet replacement, finish carpentry and door/lock repair.
• Carry out preventative maintenance including siding, painting, lighting, sprinkler systems and elevators.
• Maintain the work order system and ensure timely completion to standards and resident satisfaction.
• Inspect property grounds and common areas for safety and cleanliness; identify issues.
• Assist with property emergencies (snow removal, weather events) and communicate issues to leadership.
• Adhere to safety regulations and risk management policies; participate in after-hours on-call duties.
• Promote customer satisfaction with residents and maintain professional demeanor.
