Maintenance Technician/ Groundskeeper

We are seeking a Maintenance Technician/Groundskeeper to maintain and improve the physical quality of their assigned property. This position completes groundskeeping tasks on all outdoor and indoor common areas and maintenance tasks in vacant apartments, resident apartments, including preventative repairs. A valid driver's license is required.

The work is performed in both indoor and outdoor environments under the immediate oversight of the Maintenance Supervisor and with overall direction of the Capital Maintenance Officer. This is a full-time, Monday through Friday, 7am to 4pm benefits-eligible position in Clearwater, FL.

Minimum Requirements

• High school diploma or GED certificate.
• One year of experience in various trades including carpentry, plumbing, HVAC, refrigeration, appliances and/or electrical maintenance and repair, elevator systems and painting.
• Computer proficiency in Windows operating system and MS Office software.
• Possession of valid Florida Driver’s License.
• Safety, fire prevention and first aid techniques.
• Measurement and mathematical calculations.
• Operate motor vehicle.
• Ability to work in a variety of conditions and locations including confined areas, rooftops, underground spaces, etc.
• Lift and carry items weighing up to 50 pounds.
