Equity LifeStyle Properties, Inc. is seeking a Maintenance - Level I in Venice, Florida.

The role covers a range of upkeep duties across the community, including repairs, painting, carpentry, groundskeeping, and janitorial tasks to maintain high property standards. You will work closely with management, attend daily briefings, and participate in routine maintenance projects while ensuring safety and quality across amenity spaces.

Qualifications

• Must have a valid driver’s license, good driving record, and current auto insurance.
• High school diploma or the equivalent experience.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and work with heavy equipment.
• Willing to be on call for emergencies that arise after hours.

Responsibilities

• Maintain amenity spaces and ensure they are well kept and safe.
• Perform maintenance tasks including light appliance repairs, plumbing, carpentry, painting and groundskeeping.
• Move heavy objects and, if required, drive maintenance trucks around the property.
• Communicate with management and staff on daily tasks and special projects.
• Inspect and report maintenance concerns to ensure quick repairs and safe operations.
