Job summary

Sun Communities in Riverside, CA is seeking Maintenance Technicians to perform routine and preventative maintenance across our community properties. You will handle home/building repairs, lawn care, irrigation checks, and general maintenance tasks to keep sites clean and inviting.

The role requires physical stamina, the ability to lift up to 50 lbs, a valid driver's license, and comfort with outdoor work and on-call schedule.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 6 months maintenance experience preferred in apartments or manufactured housing.
• 6 months snow removal experience preferred (if applicable).
• Ability to lift at least 50 lbs.
• Valid driver’s license required.
• Able to work independently or in a team.
• On-call schedule ability.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine and preventative maintenance to maintain Sun communities’ physical integrity.
• Carry out home/building maintenance repairs and upkeep of property grounds, facilities, and equipment.
• Remove snow from streets and walkways where applicable; operate plow truck or other equipment as needed.
• Inspect irrigation, plumbing, electrical, and grounds maintenance tasks; report issues to supervisor.
• Maintain cleanliness of clubhouses, offices, restrooms, and maintenance areas.
• Assist with supervision of service contractors and move-in/move-out site readiness.
• Maintain community vehicles and equipment; follow safety procedures while traveling between sites.
