Job summary

RHP Properties seeks a Maintenance Technician for Edwardsville Village in Edwardsville, Kansas. You will perform grounds and lawn maintenance, plus basic repairs to homes owned by the community, working 40 hours per week.

Responsibilities include completing work orders, communicating with the Community Manager, and ensuring safe and clean community areas. Requires 2+ years of maintenance experience and a valid driver’s license.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of maintenance experience.
• High School Diploma or GED preferred.
• Valid operator’s license with clean driving record.
• Working knowledge of plumbing, electrical, appliance repairs, HVAC and carpentry.
• Ability to lift up to 75 pounds.
• Ability to bend, stretch, twist, walk continuously, and access restricted spaces.
• May need to provide own tools.

Responsibilities

• Perform general grounds and lawn maintenance.
• Carry out basic repairs to homes owned by the community.
• Execute assigned work orders and report status to the Community Manager.
• Maintain the appearance of community grounds and common areas.
• Manage snow removal when needed.
• Assist in refurbishing Community Owned homes.
• Maintain water and sewer lines.
