Job summary

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED and six months work experience in facilities or maintenance, or equivalent training.
• Knowledge of basic plumbing, carpentry, electrical and general building repair.
• Ability to work independently and meet strict time lines with limited supervision.

Responsibilities

• Maintains buildings by performing minor and routine painting, plumbing, electrical wiring and related maintenance.
• Follows preventive maintenance schedules for buildings and equipment.
• Receives work assignments via work orders and completes them as directed.
• Keeps department grounds clean of trash and debris.
• Maintains landscaping, trims trees, repairs fences, and manages irrigation systems.
• Assists in moving or unloading supplies, furniture, and equipment.
