Tohono O’odham Ki:Ki Association is seeking a Maintenance Technician to perform electrical, plumbing, and general housing upkeep under supervision. You will inspect, repair, and install various systems across multiple housing units and ensure safety compliance.
The role requires hands-on skills in HVAC, roofing, and general repairs, with readiness for occasional on-call duties and clear coordination with the Maintenance Manager.

Pre-employment Screening Requirements
The Tohono O’odham Ki:Ki Association conducts pre-employment screening for all positions, which may include a criminal background check, verification of education, credentials, licenses, certifications, and work history. In addition, a check of names and identification documents is conducted on all new employees to ensure they are legally authorized to work in the United States. All employees are required to successfully pass a drug screening test prior to employment; random drug screening tests may be administered post-employment.
Under general supervision, maintains and repairs electrical, plumbing, roofs, drywall, coolers, and heaters and performs routine housing/building maintenance.

High school diploma or general education degree (GED) and 3 years work experience within the maintenance or construction trade and any training certificate within the maintenance field; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos in English. Ability to write simple correspondence in English. Ability to effectively present information in one‑on‑one and small group situations to customers, clients, and other employees of the organization. Ability to understand and speak O’odham Language, preferred.
Ability to add, subtract, multiply, divide and use fractions.
Ability to apply commonsense understanding to carry out detailed but uninvolved written or oral instructions. Ability to deal with problems involving a few concrete variables in standardized situations.
Basic computer skills needed.
