Responsibilities:
- Assist the Maintenance Director in keeping the building and grounds in good repair.
- Perform tasks such as repairing walls, painting, maintaining grounds (mowing, raking, snow shoveling, shrub trimming), making simple repairs in the community and residents' homes.
- Maintain maintenance inventory in an organized manner.
- Complete general maintenance tasks (changing light bulbs, air filters, waste disposal).
- Ensure compliance with Life and Safety Building codes and perform necessary checks.
- Understand and adhere to Federal/State regulations for skilled nursing and assisted living facilities.
- Be available for weekend maintenance and emergency on-call as scheduled.
Qualifications & Experience:
- Valid Wisconsin driver’s license and proficiency in operating motorized equipment.
- High school diploma preferred.
- Experience in routine cleaning or manual labor preferred.
- Knowledge of custodial materials, methods, and equipment.
