The Westerfield Club in Tuscaloosa, AL is seeking a full-time Maintenance Laborer to support a fast-paced, hospitality-focused property managed by Troon. You will perform general repairs across electrical, mechanical, and structural systems to keep the facility safe and inviting.

Daily duties include exterior and interior upkeep, inventory management, coordinating vendor deliveries, and assisting with HVAC, plumbing, and pool equipment.

Qualifikationen

• Associates degree or two years related experience in building maintenance.
• Knowledge of electrical, plumbing, HVAC and pool equipment.
• Regular and reliable attendance.

Aufgaben

• Performs general repairs and maintenance for all areas within the operation including electrical, mechanical, and structural aspects of buildings and grounds.
• Maintains cleanliness and appearance of exterior of the facility including trash, sweeping, litter removal, and outdoor furniture.
• Maintains interior areas (trash, sweeping, vacuuming, dusting, furniture).
• Identifies and reports needed supplies to supervisor.
• Performs quality checks on HVAC, air conditioning, plumbing and electrical systems.
• Checks and responds to security and safety issues.
• Tests and recommends new maintenance products.
• Coordinates deliveries from vendors and suppliers.
• Keeps documents of inspections and problems.
• Performs landscaping, pool maintenance and pest control.
• Keeps an inventory of cleaning and repair supplies.
• Trains junior staff, if applicable.
• Performs other duties as required.

Key Responsibilities

• Performs general repairs and maintenance for all areas within the operation including but not limited to: electrical, mechanical, and structural aspects of the buildings and grounds.
• Maintains cleanliness and appearance of exterior of the facility including but not limited to: emptying trash cans and ashtrays, sweeping walkways, picking up litter, and arranging outdoor furniture.
• Maintains cleanliness and appearance of interior areas of the facility including but not limited to: emptying trash cans and ashtrays, sweeping, vacuuming, dusting, and arranging furniture.
• Identifies and reports needed supplies to supervisor.
• Performing quality checks on HVAC, air conditioning, plumbing and electrical systems.
• Checking and responding to security and safety issues.
• Testing and recommending new maintenance products.
• Coordinating deliveries from vendors and suppliers.
• Keeping documents of inspections and problems.
• Doing landscaping, pool maintenance and pest control.
• Keeping an inventory of cleaning and repair supplies.

Minimum Qualifications

• Associates degree or two years of related experience associated with Building maintenance.

Other Qualifications

• Possesses knowledge in operatingelectrical, plumbing, HVAC and pool equipment.
• Regular and reliable attendance.
