Job summary

The Westerfield Club in Tuscaloosa, AL is seeking a full-time housekeeper to join our fast-paced hospitality team. The role offers $17.00 per hour and a pathway to grow within a Troon-managed property.

You will clean offices, public spaces, kitchens, and restrooms, and uphold safety and quality standards while reporting supply needs and maintaining consistent attendance.

Qualifications

• Less than high school education; or one-month related experience or training; or equivalent combination education and experience.
• Regular and reliable attendance.
• Ability to read and speak English may be required to perform duties.

Responsibilities

• Provides daily cleaning for offices, public spaces, restrooms, and other areas.
• Performs light and heavy cleaning including window washing, furniture polishing, dusting, vacuuming, and floor care.
• Identify and report supply needs to supervisor.
• Maintain safe work practices and regular attendance.

Compensation: $17.00 per hour

General Purpose:

• Provides daily cleaning services for all aspects of the operations, including cleanliness of the offices, public spaces, restroom facilities, and other areas as required.
• Provide daily cleaning for all of the operation including but not limited to: offices, public spaces, drinking fountains, kitchen, and restroom facilities.
• Perform light cleaning and heaving cleaning including but not limited to: window washing, furniture polishing, dusting, vacuuming, sweeping, floor cleaning and polishing, emptying of trash cans and ashtrays.
• Identify and report to supervisor when supplies are needed.
• Incorporates safe work practices in job performance.
• Regular and reliable attendance.
• Performs other duties as required.

Education/Experience:

• Less than high school education; or one-month related experience or training; or equivalent combination education and experience.

Physical Demands:

• Frequently stands, walks and sits. Regularly uses hands, pushes, pulls, reaches with arms and hands, talks and hears. Occasionally climbs, balances, stoops, kneels, crawls, crouches. Regularly lifts up to 25 pounds and occasionally lifts up to 50 pounds.
• Occasionally works in outdoor weather conditions. Frequently works with cleaning supplies and chemicals. Noise level is moderate.
