Job summary

Audubon Area Community Services, Inc. is hiring a Maintenance Technician for Lincolnshire Apartments in Owensboro, KY. This full-time role supports upkeep, safety, and appearance, performing furnace repairs, painting, drywall, plumbing and electrical work.

Applicants should have some construction or housing industry experience; carpentry or general maintenance training is preferred. The position reports to the Maintenance Supervisor and offers a structured, 40-hour work week.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Experience in construction or housing industry preferred; maintenance experience desired.
• Certification or training in carpentry or general maintenance preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform furnace repairs, painting, drywall, plumbing and electrical maintenance.

Job Skills / Requirements

Starting wages: $16.39 hourly. Lincolnshire Apartments. Will support the overall upkeep, safety, and appearance of the property by performing general maintenance and repair duties. Will complete all forms of maintenance activities, including but not limited to furnace repairs, painting, drywall, plumbing and electrical issues. Will identify maintenance needs and communicate repair issues or concerns to management. Working 40 hours per week.

Experience in some form of construction or the housing industry is required. Certification and/or training in carpentry and/or general maintenance is preferred.
