Job summary

The Tops team is seeking a Maintenance Mechanic Class III to repair and maintain electric and propane forklifts, dock doors, and building equipment. You will follow manuals and use hand tools, power tools, and knowledge of electrical, power transmission, brake and other mechanical systems to keep our facilities running smoothly.

Essential duties include monitoring building infrastructure, maintaining forklifts and related equipment, and supporting other maintenance staff.

Qualifications

• High school diploma; GED recommended but not required.
• Electrical and/or plumbing license and HVAC certification preferred.
• Own your own tools (¾ inch).
• Pass written and practical exam; OSHA, GMP, PSM, RMP knowledge is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Operate, repair, and monitor building infrastructure including roofs and HVAC.
• Repair and maintain dock doors, forklifts, pallet jacks, and related equipment.
• Work with various building systems (sprinklers, compressed air, balers, trash compactors).
• Assist other maintenance staff and other duties as assigned.
