Job summary

Cardinal Ritter Senior Services in Saint Louis, MO, seeks a Maintenance Technician to perform preventative and ongoing maintenance, including custodial tasks, to keep properties safe, functional, and well-maintained.

The ideal candidate will have experience in custodial work and skilled trades (plumbing, electrical, HVAC, painting, carpentry) and be committed to serving through a mission-driven senior services environment.

Qualifications

Experienced in custodial and service fields, including skilled trades such as plumbing, electrical, HVAC, painting or carpentry.
The ability to understand and follow directions and prioritize tasks.

Responsibilities

Daily inspect buildings and grounds to determine repairs and cleanup needs.
Perform a wide variety of building and equipment repairs and maintenance tasks.
Carry out painting, drywall, electrical, HVAC, plumbing and carpentry work as needed.
Service, filter change, and cleaning of HVAC and PTAC units.
Maintain custodial duties in absence of designated staff.
Keep Work Orders, time, and material records and monitor inventory.
Escort and oversee outside contractors and inspect building systems (fire panel, elevator, boiler).
Maintain all equipment, landscaping, and grounds; respond to safety issues and emergencies.
