Job summary

Cardinal Ritter Senior Services, a ministry of Catholic Charities of the Archdiocese of Saint Louis, is seeking a Maintenance Technician to join our team. The Maintenance Technician will perform preventative and ongoing maintenance, including custodial care, to ensure properties and buildings are safe, function, and well-maintained.

The ideal candidate is passionate for serving individuals in a mission-driven senior services environment.

Qualifications

• Experience in custodial/service fields with skilled trades.
• Knowledge of trade practices and building standards.
• Ability to understand and follow directions and prioritize.

Responsibilities

• Inspect buildings and grounds daily to identify repairs.
• Perform repairs across plumbing, electrical, HVAC, painting, carpentry.
• Maintain and service HVAC/PTAC units.
• Keep time and material records for work orders.
• Escort contractors and supervise inspections.
• Maintain shop and inventory of parts and tools.
• Respond to safety concerns and emergencies promptly.
