Job summary

ASR Group is seeking a Maintenance Technician at our Calumet, IL facility to keep packaging, processing, and facility equipment running safely and efficiently. You will perform preventative maintenance, respond to breakdowns, and support continuous improvement initiatives in a food manufacturing environment.

You must be able to work a flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays, and collaborate with operations, maintenance, and engineering teams to meet production targets and maintain top

Qualifications

• 3-5 years industrial maintenance experience required
• Ability to work a flex schedule as needed
• Commitment to safety, food quality and continuous improvement

Responsibilities

• Perform routine, corrective, and preventative maintenance on production, packaging, material-handling, and facility equipment.
• Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, hydraulic, and PLC-controlled systems to diagnose and resolve equipment failures.
• Optimize the performance of packaging equipment to meet production targets and improve efficiency.
• Set up and operate shop tools to fabricate, modify, or repair parts.
• Maintain safety and food quality standards and document maintenance activities using CMMS/SAP.
• Collaborate with operations to minimize downtime and support plant operations
