Candidates should have strong mechanical and electrical skills and extensive experience in a food production setting. The role demands reading and interpreting prints, signage, and safety manuals, with a focus on quality and reliability.

Qualifications

• HS diploma or GED required; technical training preferred.
• Two-year technical degree or related experience preferred.
• Ten years of full-time maintenance mechanic experience.
• Welding and mechanical power transmission experience.
• Ability to read prints and interpret manuals.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventative maintenance tasks and document activities.
• Repair malfunctioning equipment using a final task approach.
• Plan projects, upgrades, and new installations of equipment.
• Assist line and machine operators and provide technical support.
• Document root cause analyses and maintain HACCP alignment.
• Maintain composure in changing environments and adapt to new tasks.
