Job summary

100Hires, Inc. seeks an experienced maintenance technician to service electrical and control systems in a food manufacturing environment. You will maintain system documentation, diagnose issues with the help of mechanics, and coordinate Electro-Mechanics across shifts.

The role includes occasional offsite travel for troubleshooting and repairs, adherence to GMP and safety standards, and performing preventive maintenance on processing and control networks and drive systems.

Qualifications

AS/AAS degree in Electrical/Electronic Engineering preferred or equivalent experience.
High school or military training with practical experience in machinery and electrical control systems.
Familiarity with Rockwell, Siemens, and Mitsubishi software and preventive maintenance tools.
Ability to read electrical, mechanical, instrumentation and control system documentation.
Knowledge of control system projects including drawings (P&ID, wiring diagrams) and basic troubleshooting.

Responsibilities

Maintain current documentation for all electrical and control systems.
Assist Mechanics and Electro-Mechanics in diagnosing electrical or control issues.
Provide training and coordinate Electro-Mechanics across shifts.
Occasionally travel offsite to support equipment troubleshooting and repairs.
Perform maintenance on batching and process control systems, including networks, drive systems, pneumatics, hydraulics, and mechanics.
Keep accurate work records per work orders and backlog.
