Job summary

100Hires, Inc. is seeking a maintenance technician specializing in electrical and control systems for food manufacturing. The role focuses on upkeep, repair, and documentation of electrical controls, ensuring minimal downtime and compliant operations.

You will assist Mechanics and Electro-Mechanics, train across shifts, perform inspections, and handle preventive and corrective work on drives, pneumatics, hydraulics, and associated systems, adhering to GMP and safety standards.

Qualifications

• AS/AAS degree in Electrical/Electronic Engineering preferred or related field.
• High school/military training with practical experience in machine and electrical control systems.
• Familiarity with Rockwell, Siemens, and Mitsubishi software; preventive maintenance tools.
• Ability to read electrical, mechanical, instrumentation, and control system documents.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills on electrical systems.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and update documentation for electrical and control systems.
• Diagnose and resolve electrical or control issues with mechanics.
• Coordinate Electro-Mechanics across shifts and training.
• Perform preventive, scheduled, or corrective maintenance on process control networks, drives, pneumatics, hydraulics.
• Keep records and ensure safety, GMP, and regulatory compliance.
• Occasionally travel for parts procurement or training.
