Job summary
Barry Callebaut is seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician for our Americas manufacturing facility in California. The role focuses on electrical and mechanical systems, preventive maintenance, and supporting operators with adjustments and setups.
Candidates should have at least 5 years of manufacturing experience, preferably in food manufacturing, read manuals and diagrams, and work under strict safety standards in environments up to 100F-120F.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 5 years’ manufacturing experience.
- Ability to read and understand manuals, line diagrams and schematics.
- Self-motivated and able to work autonomously with minimal supervision.
Responsibilities
- Observe all safety, sanitation, GMP and HACCP requirements.
- Troubleshoot and repair electrical and mechanical systems on equipment.
- Demonstrate troubleshooting capabilities on control systems, pumps, motors, HMIs, and PLCs.
- Perform preventive maintenance tasks as necessary, with emphasis on high technical expertise.
- Assist in day-to-day support of operators for adjustments, setups, and changeovers.
