This role involves maintaining community amenities and apartment interiors, preparing units for new residents, and ensuring occupied units are well-maintained.

This position is suitable for candidates experienced in painting, plumbing, electrical work, appliance repair, and carpentry. Knowledge of landscaping, irrigation repairs, and maintaining curb appeal is also required.

Applicants should possess strong communication skills to address resident needs, work independently with urgency, and be solutions-oriented. Willingness to learn new technology is essential. Certifications in HVAC and pool maintenance may be required.

Compensation will depend on experience.

Essential Functions
  • Follow checklists, schedules, and service requests to perform routine repairs and apartment preparations.
  • Respond to service requests, troubleshoot, and perform repairs on appliances, fixtures, and structural elements, escalating complex issues appropriately.
  • Paint interior and exterior surfaces, including walls, fixtures, and outdoor amenities, ensuring quality and aesthetic standards.
  • Maintain grounds and exterior areas, including trash removal, pressure washing, and landscaping repairs.
  • Clean and maintain pools, including chemical treatments, and repair irrigation systems.
  • Perform preventive maintenance tasks such as changing filters, checking detectors, and replacing bulbs.
  • Assist with moving appliances and conducting move-in/move-out inspections, including resident orientation.
  • Maintain property grounds and report hazards or damages.
  • Track service requests and close completed records in the system.
  • Be available for on-call duties, including nights and weekends.
Qualifications
Knowledge and Experience
  • High School Diploma or GED required.
  • Basic mechanical knowledge required.
  • Certifications such as Pool Operator and EPA may be necessary for pool and HVAC work.
  • Proficiency in English for safety and communication.
  • Preferably over one year of relevant experience.
