Job summary

Troy Allan Properties is seeking a dependable Maintenance Technician for Parkway Apartments in Idaho Falls. This role involves preparing units, repairing issues, painting, landscaping, and assisting residents, with ownership of quality work.

You will join a supportive property team, use hand and power tools, and grow by taking on a variety of tasks while maintaining high standards and safety in all duties.

Qualifications

• Experience in maintenance, construction, remodeling, painting, landscaping, handyman work, or a related trade.
• Comfortable using hand and power tools safely.
• Basic knowledge of general repairs (plumbing, electrical, carpentry, drywall, painting).
• Dependable, hardworking, and willing to jump in where needed.
• Strong attention to detail and pride in quality work.
• Able to troubleshoot problems and work independently.
• Positive attitude and willingness to learn and grow.
• Embodies values of humility, integrity, caring, quality, and simplicity.

About the Role:

As a Maintenance Technician, you’ll help keep our apartment homes and community looking and functioning at their best. No two days are exactly the same. You may be preparing an apartment for a new resident, completing a repair, troubleshooting a maintenance issue, painting, working outside, or helping a resident with something in their home.

You’ll work alongside a supportive property team while having the independence to take ownership of your work, solve problems, and make a visible difference in the community every day.

What We’re Looking For:

Schedule

Full-time

Schedules may include:

• Monday-Friday
• Tuesday-Saturday

Typical shifts:

• 8:00AM - 5:00 PM
• 9:00 AM–6:00 PM.

Maintenance team members also participate in a rotating on-call schedule for after-hours emergencies and assist with snow removal during winter weather.
