Job summary
Nissan is seeking a Maintenance Technician in Canton, MS to support manufacturing by maintaining and repairing equipment used in vehicle production. You will work with manufacturing technicians to drive continuous improvement and efficiency on site.
Qualified candidates have a HS Diploma or GED and at least 2 years in industrial maintenance or a related technical degree, with strong problem solving and electrical/mechanical skills. Shift availability and overtime may apply.
Qualifications
- HS diploma or GED required.
- 2 years of industrial maintenance experience or a 2-year technical degree/certification.
- Demonstrated problem solving and analytical skills.
Responsibilities
- Understand and follow safety procedures (lockout, fall protection, hot work).
- Perform corrective, preventative, proactive, and predictive maintenance.
- Troubleshoot electrical, mechanical, pneumatic systems.
- Identify root causes of equipment malfunctions and implement fixes.
- Execute work orders with quality craftsmanship.
