Job summary

Nissan Motor Iberica SA in Canton, MS is seeking an Industrial Maintenance Technician for 2nd or 3rd shift. You will support maintenance across manufacturing by repairing equipment and addressing breakdowns to keep vehicle production running smoothly.

The role requires a HS diploma or GED and 2 years of industrial maintenance experience or a related technical degree. Candidates must be able to work any shift, including weekends and overtime as needed.

Qualifications

HS diploma or GED is required.
2 years of industrial maintenance experience or a related technical degree/certification required.
Strong problem-solving and analytical skills are essential.
Ability to interpret and troubleshoot electrical and motor-control circuits.
Experience with PLC troubleshooting and basic programming is preferred.
Exposure to robotics path/logic programming and welding/mechanical fabrication is a plus.

Responsibilities

Maintain, repair, and improve equipment used to produce vehicles.
Troubleshoot electrical, mechanical, pneumatic systems and PLCs.
Identify root causes of equipment malfunctions and implement corrective actions.
Execute work orders and document activities with a quality workmanship mindset.
Collaborate with maintenance and operations teams to drive continuous improvement.
