Job summary

A leading automotive manufacturer in Canton, MS, is seeking a High Skill Production Technician to perform automotive repairs and mechanical diagnostics. This position involves responsibility for brake systems, engine repairs, and troubleshooting. Qualified candidates should have automotive repair experience and ASE certifications. This long-term contract position offers competitive pay with increases every six months and requires the ability to work all shifts and lift up to 25 lbs.

Qualifications

• Must be able to work all shifts.

Responsibilities

• Performing light and heavy automotive repairs.
• Diagnosing and repairing brake systems.
• Using power tools and repair equipment.

Skills

Experience in automotive/mechanical repair and diagnosis

Ability to read electrical schematics

Experience with Hunter Alignment equipment

Ability to work overtime as needed

Ability to lift up to 25 lbs

Education

Degree in Automotive Technology

ASE/Welding certifications

Position: High Skill Production Technician

Department: Pre-Delivery

Location: Canton, MS

Pay Rate: $13.46-14.21/hour (Based on Shift)

• Pay increases every 6 months

Work Shifts: 1st, 2nd and 3rd shifts available

Assignment: Long-term contract (Potential Temp to Hire)

Job Responsibilities & Duties

• Light and heavy automotive repairs
• Performing mechanical repairs
• Diagnosing and repairing brake systems
• Diagnosing and repairing engine systems
• Diagnosing and repairing heating and cooling systems
• Paint touch ups and finishings
• Troubleshooting electrical issues
• Wheel alignment and repairs
• Welding and auto-body repairs
• Fit and Finish inspections
• Using power tools and repair equipment

Qualifications

Requirements & Qualifications

• Experience in automotive/mechanical repaid and diagnosis
• Experience with Hunter Alignment equipment preferred
