Job summary

Ventura Family YMCA is seeking an Experienced Maintenance Technician to join our Ventura, CA facility. The role involves completing maintenance projects, performing preventive maintenance, and ensuring cleanliness and safety across the building.

You will manage supplies, assist with event setup, and uphold high standards of service for members while following safety guidelines and program requirements.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 21 years old.
• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Complete required certifications within 60 days of hire.
• Maintain a valid California driver’s license and participate in DMV Pull Program as required.

Responsibilities

• Complete maintenance projects (e.g., painting, plumbing, carpentry).
• Perform daily, weekly, and monthly preventive maintenance.
• Clean and sanitize facilities and restrooms, and manage supplies inventory.
• Oversee cleaning checklists and logs and assist with event setup/teardown.
