Qualifications

• 3–5 years of facilities maintenance, building operations, or related experience.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, manuals, and technical documentation.
• Technical certification or licensing in a specialty area such as HVAC, plumbing, or electrical preferred.
• Ability to work independently, manage priorities, and make sound decisions.

Responsibilities

• Maintain building systems to stay safe, functional, and efficient.
• Perform advanced troubleshooting and repairs to minimize downtime.
• Identify potential maintenance concerns and recommend solutions before impact on operations.
• Complete scheduled preventative maintenance activities to extend equipment life.
• Diagnose and repair issues involving mechanical, electrical, plumbing, HVAC, carpentry, and other facility systems.
• Provide guidance to Level I technicians and interpret manuals and schematics to support repairs.
• Respond to work orders and service requests in a timely, professional manner.
• Prioritize work based on safety, operational impact, and urgency.
• Document completed work, materials used, and equipment history.
• Support facility projects, upgrades, inspections, and improvement initiatives.
