Job summary

Sunrise Management in Oceanside, CA is seeking a Maintenance Technician to perform maintenance and repairs to meet our high standards for property quality and curb appeal. You will support the Maintenance Supervisor or Community Manager in preventive maintenance, safety compliance, and apartment turnover.

This role requires 1–2 years of hands-on maintenance and knowledge of property management software such as Entrata, Yardi, and OneSite.

Qualifications

• 1-2 years of hands-on maintenance experience (plumbing, electrical, HVAC, carpentry, painting).
• 2 years minimum and knowledge of property management software such as Entrata, Yardi, Onesite, etc.

Responsibilities

• Perform general maintenance tasks, including appliance repair, basic electrical, HVAC, plumbing, carpentry, pool maintenance, and custodial work.
• Maintain the exterior curb appeal of the community and ensure the cleanliness of the grounds.
• Assist with daily upkeep of pools, spas, laundry rooms, recreation areas, rental offices, restrooms, and other common areas.
• Ensure apartments are rent-ready within 3-5 days of vacancy.
• Respond promptly and professionally to tenant service requests, ensuring efficient resolution within 24 hours.
