Job summary

Wise Path Recovery Centers is seeking a dependable Maintenance Technician to keep our treatment facilities safe, functional, clean, and welcoming. The role supports multiple Wise Path locations, primarily Camp Road, with on-call availability for emergencies.

You will perform preventative maintenance, routine repairs, and coordinate with contractors as needed, ensuring a safe, orderly environment for clients and staff across facilities.

Qualifications

• Previous building maintenance experience preferred.
• Working knowledge of general building maintenance, basic plumbing, electrical, carpentry, painting and repair work.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to safely use hand tools, power tools, ladders and maintenance equipment.
• Identify when work requires a licensed contractor and elevate appropriately.
• Maintain accurate records and basic maintenance documentation.
• Ability to work independently and manage competing priorities.
• Reliable transportation and ability to travel between Wise Path locations as needed.
• Valid driver's license may be required.
• Ability to respond to urgent maintenance needs outside normal hours.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventative maintenance on buildings, equipment, and facility infrastructure.
• Conduct routine inspections for maintenance, safety, and security concerns.
• Complete routine and emergency repairs.
• Repair doors, windows, locks, flooring, ceilings, walls, and other components.
• Perform basic carpentry, painting, drywall repair, and patching.
• Maintain and repair facility furnishings and fixtures.
• Replace light bulbs, ballasts, switches, outlets, and fixtures.
• Perform basic plumbing repairs involving sinks, toilets, faucets, drains, and water lines.
• Perform minor electrical troubleshooting and repairs within scope.
• Maintain facility equipment in safe working condition.
• Respond to maintenance requests from staff.
• Assist with renovations, construction projects, and new-site prep.
