Liberty Healthcare Management's Yadkin Nursing Care Center in Yadkinville, NC seeks an experienced Maintenance Technician for full-time days. You will maintain the facility, equipment and grounds, perform minor repairs, and ensure safety.

The role requires high school diploma, NC driver's license, HVAC experience, and ability to use a work order system. Candidates should be able to work weekends on a rotating basis and respond to emergencies as needed.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Valid NC Driver’s License.
• Knowledge of general maintenance.
• Experience in HVAC.
• General computer knowledge for troubleshooting and work order system.
• Carry cell phone and respond to maintenance call every fourth weekend.
• Willing to work odd hours if emergency arises.
• Ability to read and write with clarity to follow instructions.
• Neat appearance and good personal hygiene.
• Knowledge of fire alarm panels and pull stations.
• Knowledge of turning off main power, water, and/or gas supply to facility.
• Knowledge of roof equipment functions.
• Willing to work as Housekeeping Assistant Porter, Laundry Assistant or Grounds Assistant as needed.

Responsabilités

• Maintains facility, grounds and equipment.
• Performs minor repairs and keeps hazards under control.
• Monitors whirlpool lift and services as needed.
• Lubricates wheelchairs and performs minor repairs.
• Cleans casters and filters on equipment.
• Monitors bedrails and makes repairs.
• Checks dining tables for levelness at all times.
• Hangs pictures and connects TVs for patients.
• Monitors downspouts, roof and maintenance shop for cleanliness.
• Repairs sheetrock as needed.
• Performs minor carpentry, electrical and plumbing repairs.
