Job summary

Kenco Logistics in Jeffersonville, IN is seeking a Maintenance Technician to perform general facility and equipment repairs, with a focus on safety and reliability.

You will schedule and supervise third-party contractors, inspect dock systems, maintain preventive maintenance logs, and use hand and power tools to identify and fix faults. A high school diploma and basic computer skills are preferred.

Qualifications

• Minimum two years maintenance and repair experience required.
• Strong mechanical ability.
• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Basic computer skills.
• Attention to detail.
• Pass Background and Drug Screen.

Responsibilities

• Perform general facility maintenance to interior and exterior of building, fixtures, appliances, and equipment.
• Schedule and oversee any third-party contractors visiting facility for repairs or maintenance.
• Inspect ladders, dock doors, dock lights, dock plates, and personnel door access for safe operation.
• Maintain preventative maintenance schedule and log for all buildings and equipment.
• Operate battery changing equipment/station for powered industrial equipment.
• Identify and repair faulty equipment.
• Comply with all safety requirements.
• Additional duties as assigned by direct Supervisor.
