Job summary

Dairy Farmers of America, Inc. is seeking a Maintenance Mechanic to support our Riverside facilities. The role focuses on troubleshooting mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic issues, performing preventive maintenance, and executing repairs or upgrades to keep production running smoothly.

You will document activities, ensure GMP/SOP/OSHA compliance, and collaborate with production teams while developing your skills with newer technologies and equipment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; vocational training preferred.
• 2–3 years in facility and production maintenance environment.
• Experience with boilers, chillers, and refrigeration systems desired but not required.
• Proficiency with conveyors and maintenance troubleshooting is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot and diagnose mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic issues using diagnostic tools.
• Perform preventive maintenance to minimize downtime and optimize efficiency.
• Repair equipment and implement modifications or upgrades for safety and performance.
• Ensure compliance with GMPs, SOPs, OSHA standards; maintain safe work environment.
• Document maintenance, repairs and inspections for performance tracking.
• Collaborate with production teams and train others as needed.
