Job summary

LightForce Orthodontics is seeking a Maintenance Technician I/II to support reliability and performance of production equipment and facility systems. You will perform preventive and corrective maintenance, document activities in CMMS, and work with Production, Engineering, and other teams to improve equipment uptime.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; technical maintenance training preferred.
• Equivalent combinations of education, training, and experience considered.
• Experience in a professional manufacturing environment is a plus.
• Experience with additive manufacturing is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on production equipment and facility systems.
• Complete routine inspections and daily maintenance rounds.
• Document maintenance activities, inspections, repairs, and actions in the CMMS.
• Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and process equipment issues.
• Support equipment reliability and uptime through preventive maintenance.
• Maintain tools, parts, and work areas in a safe, organized condition.
• Follow safety policies, GMP requirements, SOPs, LOTO, and environmental requirements.
• Assist production teams by addressing equipment concerns and reducing downtime.
• Participate in root-cause investigations and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Apply Lean and 5S to improve workplace organization and efficiency.
• Identify opportunities for equipment and maintenance improvements and communicate with leadership.
• Assist with installation, modification, and improvement projects.
