Job summary

Maintenance Technician / Equipment Operator

Lincoln Trail Motosports (Casey, IL) Full-Time | Some Weekends & Holidays Required

Lincoln Trail Motosports is hiring a Maintenance Technician / Equipment Operator to join our team. This position is ideal for someone with experience in heavy equipment operation, facility maintenance, groundskeeping, and equipment repair.

The ideal candidate will have hands‑on experience operating and maintaining tractors, skid steers, dozers, backhoes, dump trucks, ATVs, motorcycles, and side‑by‑sides (SxS).

Job Duties

• Perform routine preventative maintenance and repairs on: Tractors, Skid steers, Dozers, Backhoes, Dump trucks, ATVs, Motorcycles, Side‑by‑sides
• Operate heavy equipment and machinery safely and efficiently
• Complete grounds maintenance including mowing, trash removal, and general property upkeep
• Maintain buildings, grounds, and race facility areas
• Assist with track preparation and event setup
• Inspect machinery and report repair needs
• Ensure all equipment is properly fueled, cleaned, and operational

Qualifications

• Experience in equipment maintenance, mechanic work, or heavy equipment operation required
• Experience with tractors, skid steers, dozers, or backhoes preferred
• Experience with small engine repair, powersports maintenance, or diesel equipment is a plus
• Ability to work outdoors in all weather conditions
• Must be able to lift 50 lbs or more
• Strong work ethic and ability to work independently
• Valid driver’s license preferred
• Availability for weekends and holidays required
