Job summary

Weinstein Properties is seeking a Maintenance Technician - EPA Certified to join our team in a well-maintained community. This hands-on role involves completing work orders in occupied and vacant apartments, troubleshooting HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and carpentry issues, and helping with apartment turns.

You will work Monday–Friday 8:00am-5:00pm with on-call rotations, enjoy competitive pay, PTO, holidays, a 401(k) with match, and a quarterly bonus based on property and team performance.

Qualifications

• 3 years of apartment or residential maintenance experience.
• EPA Certification (Type II or Universal).
• Hands-on HVAC troubleshooting and repair experience.
• Strong customer service mindset.
• Ability to work independently while being a reliable team player.
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment and prioritizing tasks.

Responsibilities

• Complete work orders in occupied and vacant apartments.
• Assist with apartment turns and make-readies.
• Troubleshoot and repair HVAC, electrical, plumbing, appliances, and carpentry items.
• Help maintain the overall appearance of the community, including grounds, amenities, and pool areas.
• Work collaboratively with the maintenance team to keep the property running smoothly.

Maintenance Technician - EPA Certified Schedule

• Full-time: Monday-Friday, 8:00am-5:00pm (40 hours/week)
• Participation in a rotating emergency on-call schedule with the team

What You'll Be Doing as a Maintenance Technician

• Reliable transportation

• Ability to lift up to 75 lbs and work indoors/outdoors year-round
• Ability to climb stairs and ladders
• Experience using hand and power tools
• Background check required
