Job summary

Weinstein Properties is seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician - EPA Certified to join our property management team in Concord, NC. The role is full-time, Monday–Friday, 8:00am–5:00pm, with a rotating on-call schedule to support our community.

You will perform preventive and corrective maintenance in occupied and vacant apartments, troubleshoot HVAC, electrical, plumbing and appliances, and help maintain grounds and amenities while delivering strong customer service.

What We Offer Our Maintenance Technicians

• Pay: $24/hour (and up, depending on experience)
• On-call pay:
• $150/week (calls or no calls)
• Additional $150 per holiday on-call
• Quarterly bonus: Up to $980 based on property and team performance

Maintenance Technician - EPA Certified Schedule

• Full-time: Monday–Friday, 8:00am–5:00pm (40 hours/week)
• Participation in a rotating emergency on-call schedule with the team

What You’ll Be Doing as a Maintenance Technician

• Complete work orders in occupied and vacant apartments
• Assist with apartment turns and make-readies
• Troubleshoot and repair HVAC, electrical, plumbing, appliances, and carpentry items
• Help maintain the overall appearance of the community, including grounds, amenities, and pool areas
• Work collaboratively with the maintenance team to keep the property running smoothly

What We’re Looking For In Our Maintenance Technicians

• At least 3 years of apartment or residential maintenance experience
• EPA Certification (Type II or Universal)
• Hands-on HVAC troubleshooting and repair experience
• Strong customer service mindset and pride in your work
• Ability to work independently while being a reliable team player
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment and prioritizing tasks

Physical & Technical Requirements of a Maintenance Technician

• Reliable transportation
• Comfortable using computers and mobile devices (Outlook, work order systems, etc.)
• Ability to drive a golf cart
• Ability to lift up to 75 lbs and work indoors/outdoors year-round
• Ability to climb stairs and ladders
• Experience using hand and power tools
• Background check required
