Job summary

ReNEW Schools is seeking a maintenance technician to perform basic building maintenance, repair electrical systems up to 277 volts, and service HVAC, mechanical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems. The role includes snow plowing and other duties as directed by the Director of Maintenance Services. Hours are 8 per day, 5 days per week, with schedule 6:45 a.m.

Qualifications

Experience in building maintenance preferred.
Computer literacy preferred.
Experienced in snow plowing.
Must have passed the Maintenance test with a minimum score of 75%.

Responsibilities

Perform basic building maintenance and repair.
Repair, maintain and install electrical systems and equipment such as motors, transformers, and wiring.
Work on systems up to 277 volts.
Repair and maintain mechanical, pneumatic and hydraulic equipment and systems.
Perform basic repair of heating, ventilation, and air conditioning system.
Perform welding and braising as required.
Perform computerized programming of Heating and Cooling systems.
Perform other duties as assigned by the Director of Maintenance Services.
Perform snow plowing.
Perform other duties as assigned by the Director of Maintenance Services.
