Bay Harbor Post Acute and Healthcare Center, supported by Marquis Health Consulting Services, is seeking a Maintenance Assistant for day shifts. This full-time, on-site role offers an hourly range of $18.00–$24.00 based on experience, with incentives.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 1+ year of general maintenance experience (painting, plumbing, carpentry, electrical, HVAC or related trades).
• Skilled nursing facility experience preferred.
• Basic understanding of safety procedures and maintenance best practices.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced healthcare environment.

Responsibilities

• Complete daily physical rounds to identify and address maintenance needs and safety concerns.
• Perform minor plumbing, electrical, mechanical, and cosmetic repairs to facility systems and equipment.
• Review maintenance request logs and complete work orders accurately and promptly.
• Collaborate with staff to support improvements in resident living spaces and facility environment.
• Assist with furniture moves, equipment repairs, and general maintenance projects.
• Troubleshoot and resolve maintenance issues promptly to support resident safety and comfort.
• Ensure all work complies with safety standards, policies, and regulatory requirements.
