Job summary

Complete Care at Bayshore is hiring a Maintenance Assistant for a full-time, day-shift role within our skilled nursing facility. The position offers competitive pay in the $22.00–$23.00 per hour range and a benefits package including health coverage and PTO.

On-call duties and emergency rotation are part of the schedule. Ideal candidates have prior maintenance experience, strong troubleshooting skills, and familiarity with Life Safety systems and codes.

Qualifications

• Experience in maintenance tasks including troubleshooting and repairs.
• Knowledge of Life Safety systems and Life Safety Code compliance is required.
• Strong problem-solving and self-motivation with ability to work independently or with a team.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine building maintenance and preventative maintenance throughout the facility.
• Complete repairs involving electrical, plumbing, HVAC, carpentry, painting, and general maintenance.
• Assist with the inspection, testing, and maintenance of Life Safety systems, including fire alarm, sprinkler, emergency lighting, and other regulatory requirements.
• Help maintain compliance with Life Safety Code, OSHA, state, and federal regulations.
• Troubleshoot equipment and building systems to ensure safe operation.
• Respond promptly to maintenance requests and work orders; support daily operations and special projects.
