Job summary

Premier Brands Group Holdings is seeking a Maintenance Technician for a 600,000-square-foot distribution center. The role covers general facility upkeep, conveyor system repairs, and preventive maintenance, with opportunities to work independently in a fast-paced environment.

The ideal candidate has hands-on mechanical skills and may have completed an industrial maintenance program. Flexibility for extended shifts and coordination with external technicians is expected.

Qualifications

• Experience in facilities or industrial maintenance preferred.
• Certificate/program in industrial maintenance is acceptable with or without prior experience.
• General mechanical troubleshooting ability required.
• Ability to safely use basic hand and power tools.
• Conveyor maintenance experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Perform general maintenance and repairs throughout the distribution center.
• Troubleshoot and repair conveyor systems, rollers, chains, motors, and sensors.
• Diagnose basic mechanical issues and determine repair needs.
• Conduct routine preventative maintenance on facility systems and equipment.
• Handle general building repairs including doors, lighting, and painting.
• Assist with basic plumbing tasks and HVAC troubleshooting as needed.
• Support electrical maintenance and troubleshooting where qualified.
• Coordinate with outside contractors and service technicians as required.
• Maintain inventory of maintenance parts and tools.
• Document activities in the maintenance system and ensure safety procedures.
