Job summary

JTEKT Machinery is seeking a Machine Maintenance Associate to install, repair, rebuild, and troubleshoot machine tools and automation equipment. You will support engineering and field teams by resolving mechanical and technical issues, monitoring product quality, and assisting with installations.

The role requires 1–3 years in maintenance or repair, experience with CNC/PLC, and proficiency in MS Office. Travel up to 10% and a starting pay of $24 per hour are offered, with competitive benefits

Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent.
1–3 years of experience applying electrical and mechanical knowledge in a maintenance or machine repair environment.
Working knowledge of close-tolerance machining, metrology, CNC and PLC programming, and field-installation documentation.
Experience repairing or fabricating mechanical assemblies and servicing CNC equipment.
Intermediate proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite.

Responsibilities

Install, repair, and rebuild machine tools, systems, and automation equipment.
Identify and resolve/repair any functional issues that occur with machines used for demonstration
Analyze findings to determine the source of mechanical and/or technical issues with the full product line
Coordinate repairs, replacements, and other corrective actions.
Support field installations, technical requests, and trade show preparation.
Perform other manufacturing and special-event duties as assigned.
Travel up to 10%
