Union County, NC is seeking a Maintenance Technician to perform inspections, repairs, and routine maintenance across carpentry, plumbing, electrical, HVAC, and related systems in park facilities. The role requires hands-on work on water systems, pumps, and landscape maintenance, with occasional welding and concrete tasks.

The position supports safety practices, follows lock-out/tag-out procedures, and participates in trainings to maintain licenses.

Competenze

• High School Diploma or GED and two years of related experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Must have a valid driver’s license and maintain a safe driving history.
• Must obtain a Class A CDL with Combination endorsement and Air Brake Endorsement within 12 months of hire.
• Basic First Aid, AED, and CPR certification.
• Must be able to work flexible hours and weekend rotations.

Mansioni

• Inspect and maintain Park water systems, pumps, valves, and piping.
• Install, troubleshoot, and repair electrical equipment following lock-out/tag-out procedures.
• Perform housekeeping and extensive maintenance on heavy and small equipment.
• Maintain landscape appearance including flower beds and lawn areas.
• Operate welding tools and cut-off torches; pour concrete and build forms as needed.
• Assist with special events and maintain logs and records.
