Job summary

FirstService Residential is seeking a Maintenance Technician Associate to support property operations by keeping mechanical systems and equipment in good working order and ensuring common areas are aesthetically pleasing and disinfected. You will perform routine inspections, maintain tools, and handle repairs across carpentry, electrical, plumbing, HVAC, and more.

You will follow safety procedures, work flexible hours including weekends if needed, and support the team to deliver reliable,

Qualifications

• Must be able to think clearly to identify problems and propose solutions.
• Maintain a positive and diplomatic demeanor in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong maintenance skills across carpentry, plumbing, electrical work, painting, and general upkeep.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine walking inspections of floors and report issues to supervisors.
• Maintain and repair equipment in the building and common areas.
• Complete maintenance repairs in carpentry, electrical, plumbing, HVAC, painting, flooring and other minor building tasks.
